    This is a complaint against your outsourced Singtel Service contractor. On April 2nd 2016, my neighbour at 10 Clover Ave called your Company for land phone connection problems, the apparatus is installed over to my side of the property fence division for some reasons only known to Singtel installation staff. Your outsourced contractor had to enter my premises to service it, but I was not in, and he pestered and harrassed my partime maid to open my gate door for him to enter. My maid refused but he kept ringing my door bell and begged her to let him in. She could not take the pressure and reluctantly let him into my garden.
    My maid is illiterate and not very bright. What bloody right have your outsourced contractor to force his way into my premises by bullying my maid.
    This is trespassing into a private property by psychological pressure on my elderly maid. I am making a Police report.
    This incident happened on 2nd April, around 3.30 pm.

  3. I got a singtel sim card from a friend who got it free. I put it in my mobile and brought it to europe for few weeks. Never used it there but I left tne phone switch on only to keep time. Back home I found out that I could use it to surf the net. It did not surprise me because it was a wifi network and I though the card had managed to access the broadband bypassing the password protection... until I was informed of a hefty bill of over $1k.

    I must say this is the most unscrupulous business practice I have come across in my whole life. One can imagine a restaurant with food openly displayed at public area and makes no attempt to stop passerbys from festing until they are fed, then slaps them with a $$$ bill for the food. It will certainly generate busines and helps to bring in loads of $$$; but it also renders singtel among lowest of the low found in the filthest of the city gutters infested by the likes of Enron, Worldcom, Goldmansack and LM Brothers

  10. I had subscribed to Singtel’s TV and internet services in April 2016 after many years with another service provider. Although the application and installation processes were prompt and efficient, the technical assistance and service recovery were very disappointing to the extent that I regretted making the switch!
    Chronology of events are as follows:
    • 29.06.2016 – Reported loss of signal to Singtel (technical support), which affected both the TV and internet services. Was informed that the Singtel technician will drop by on 01.07.2016 (Fri) to check on the cable and devices.

    • 01.07.2016 – Singtel technician came down and informed that both the cable and device were on working condition, hence, referred the case to OpenNet.


    • 02.07.2016 – Received call from Singtel Customer Service that the OpenNet technician will drop by on 04.07.2016 to check the signal (residential).

    • 04.07.2016 – OpenNet technician came down at 1.30pm and confirmed that there is no issues with signal. He added that the device could be faulty. I quickly called and updated Singtel customer service at 1.45pm on the status. At 5.20pm, received call from Singtel Customer Service to check whether the internet was working. I was just shell-shocked to learn that Singtel was not updated on the OpenNet’s follow-up. The Singtel Customer Officer apologised for the blunder and called back to inform that a Singtel technician would drop by on 05.07.2016 to rectify the issue.


    • 05.07.2016 – Singtel technician dropped by and change the device, citing that it was faulty. He confirmed that the issue is resolved. After 30 minutes, we encountered loss of signal again. Called Singtel to update. Was advised on how to switch on the device “systematically” to ensure stability of the signal. Tried but didn’t work. Singtel’s Customer Service officer called to inform that they will make arrangement for the Singtel technician to drop by again on 07.07.2016.

    • 06/07/2016 (Public holiday)


    • 07/07/2016 – Singtel technician dropped by. Couldn’t fix the issue. Received a call by Singtel Customer Service and was informed that an Open Net technician will drop by today (08.07.2016) and subsequently a Singtel technical on 09.07.2016.

    Throughout the above ordeal (for 10 days), both my wife and I have been using our mobile data for my children’s school work and office (especially during the weekend) to the extent that we have busted our data limit. It had been an agonising 10 days and issue is yet to be resolved. Numerous bookings of schedule for both the Singtel and OpenNet technicians to drop by on different days. Both service providers blaming each other.
    WHY DON’T BOTH SINGTEL AND OPENNET TECHNICIAN CONDUCT A JOINT VISIT TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE!!!

  22. Today worse as I'm a singtel customer for many years and i think is time to change my service away from singtel. Today Wi-Fi all down call in 1688 it said unusual high flow of call and ask me call back later, I was thinking WTH people need to use the boardband wifi and is link to my Mio. Can any pole reply me

  23. Experience the same as people had yesterday. Called 1688, been disconnected by the auto-reply service. Seem having technical problems more frequently. So bad. Disappointed. The worst part is that not able to call in to report. Helpless and hopeless.

    I want to report that someone uses my singtel number, they are calling my wife a foreign country (with foreign number) not only twice but many times. I did not permitted anyone to use my own number, me and my wife wondering why such incident happened. Can you help me to solve these issue? Thanks

  31. hi singtel I spoke to an agent via online and I ask her how to get a mobile phone and also asked her if I need to pay any amount upon delivery and she said if i am spass no need to give any amount just a monthly basis and she taught me on how to do it while I am doing my application online and she is also the one who told me about the plans that fits for me and now I am surprise when the delivery staff came here today he is asking 800 something and when he asked me to pay I already signed that I received the items so what I did is I returned back to him the items because I dont have that huge amount and I forgot to erase my sign on the documents..I hope that it wont give me trouble and also please inform your call agent staff via online to give the right information..Jennifer Abuque

  34. Dear Sir,

    I am leaving Singapore and would like to close my existing Singtel landline and Fibreoptic account. Unfortunately I have been struggling to get any update from Singtel regarding same inspite of calling them up daily ( 18th, 19th - twice, 20th and 22nd September ). Everytime I have been informed that they are awaiting update from Singtel shop at Tampines Mall that the settop box for the Singtel TV has been returned - I had returned it to them in October 2016 and the cancellation of my rental is reflected in the bill no 005020th Oct 2016. Though this information is available to the Singtel customer service personnel, they are unable to proceed further as they await internal update.

    I am afraid I cannot wait longer and I will have to give up the apartment on 25th. I plan to handover the fibre optic modem and router to the nearest Singtel shop on 25th.

    I am very surprised at the pathetic response from Singtel where the different departments cannot even work together to close an account within a week.

    the service are not consistence at mbfc, the data service even worse always go to 3G or out data service.

    Dear singtel. i paid >100 dollar per month with combo3, 2 years contract. Please at least let me feel worst with what i had paid, even thought you are top faster data speed among the world but i cant feel that you reach the point of providing quality service to your customer!!!
